Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you complete the protection dog fit check we collect what you tell us: what you are looking for in a protection dog, what is prompting your search, who lives in your household (adults, children and current pets), your city and state, your investment range, anything you add in the optional notes field, and your name, email and phone number.

Attribution and cookies

We record the marketing parameters attached to your visit (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, utm_id), advertising click identifiers (fbclid, gclid), your landing page and referrer. We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure which ads produce qualified consultations. Meta may set cookies in your browser, and we send Meta your hashed email, phone and name when you qualify so we can measure and improve our ads. Meta receives this as an independent party under its own data policy. We do not send your fit-check answers to Meta.

Where it goes

Your submission is sent to our customer relationship management system (GoHighLevel), which our team uses to prepare for your consultation and schedule reminders. We do not sell your information for money. Sharing data with Meta for ad measurement and targeting may count as "selling" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state privacy laws (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and others). You can opt out at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, and we honor Global Privacy Control browser signals automatically.

SMS consent

If you check the SMS box before booking, we store the exact consent language, the timestamp and the IP address it was given from. The language you agree to is:

Your choices

Your state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising. To make a request, email james@controlled-k9.com. We will verify your request, respond within the time your state's law requires, and never treat you differently for exercising these rights. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our decision.

Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to schedule and serve you and to meet legal obligations, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Children

This funnel is intended for adults, and we never knowingly collect information directly from a child.
